Design wise it’s actually better. Liking/reblogging whatever is more fluid… since were scrolling down the dash our cursors are closer to the bottom of a post than the top, so less moving around, woooo.
So, the creator of the GIF says it’s pronounced ‘Jif’, not ‘Gif’
… but as a buddy of mine pointed out, GIF is an acronym for ‘Graphics Interchange Format’and since I wouldn’t pronounce Graphics as, uh… ‘Jraphics’(?) I won’t do that for the acronym.
Plus, ‘Gif’ just sounds a lot better.
